St. Vincent de Paul’s Newest Thrift Store in Hamilton, OH

Exciting News: Hamilton Thrift Store Now Open

St. Vincent de Paul – Cincinnati (SVDP)’s newest Thrift Store and Donation Center is located in Hamilton, Ohio at 4020 Pleasant Ave.

This newest location, formerly home to Pleasant Treasures indoor flea market, offers more than just affordable shopping. It also provides a convenient place for community members to donate gently used items and create meaningful opportunities to support neighbors in need across Butler County, Hamilton, and Fairfield.

A Store Designed to Serve the Community

At over 24,000 square feet, the Hamilton thrift store is St. Vincent de Paul’s third-largest location of nine, following the Milford and Western Hills stores. Shoppers will find an incredible variety of items, including:

  • Men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing (over 50,000 items!)
  • Household goods and small appliances
  • Large appliances, furniture, and mattresses

Whether it’s a warm coat for a child or shoes for growing feet, the Hamilton store aims to provide affordable essentials for every family.

“This store is so much more than a place to shop,” said Jim Wenstrup, Vice President of Stores for SVDP. “Every purchase and every donation helps provide food for hungry families, beds for children, life-saving medications, and rent and utility assistance to help prevent homelessness, right here in our community.”

The thrift store is seven days a week:

  • Monday-Saturday: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Sunday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Beyond providing affordable goods, the store also employs over 60 team members, creating local jobs while supporting SVDP’s mission to serve neighbors in need.

Guided by the Community’s Voice

The decision to open a store in Hamilton was driven by those who know the community well. St. Vincent de Paul volunteers from local parishes (known as Vincentians) have long been working with families in the area and have seen firsthand the increasing need for resources to support struggling households.

“We are thrilled to expand to the Hamilton area and strengthen our commitment to serving the community,” said Wenstrup.  “This new store not only provides affordable shopping and convenient donation opportunities but also increase access to vital resources for our neighbors.”

More Than a Store: Making a Difference
Every donation and purchase at St. Vincent de Paul thrift stores helps fund critical programs like homelessness prevention, food assistance, and free prescription medications.

In 2025 alone, SVDP provided $1.3 million in free clothing, furniture, and household goods through our voucher program, allowing neighbors in need to shop for free. For others, our stores offer low-cost essentials while every sale directly supports our mission to serve with compassion and care.

Thank you for helping us extend hope and opportunity to more families in Hamilton. Together, we can make a lasting impact!
