St. Vincent de Paul relies on the generosity of people like you to make its work possible.  The majority of St. Vincent de Paul’s funding comes from individuals.  

St. Vincent de Paul is not funded by the Catholic Ministries Appeal, the Archbishop’s Fund, the Archdiocese of Cincinnati or the United Way of Greater Cincinnati.   

Without your support, we simply would not be able to provide emergency assistance and basic necessities to more than 120,000 people in need each year throughout Cincinnati. 

Protecting Your Privacy

Your privacy is important to us, which is why we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. 

The Information We Collect

This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the St. Vincent de Paul website. On some pages, you can order tickets and make requests to schedule donations of vehicles, clothing, furniture or household items. The types of personal information collected at these pages are: 

• Name 

• Address 

• Email address 

• Phone number 

• Credit/Debit Card Information 

Financial donations are made through DonorPerfect, which provides a complete security policy at its site. 

The Way We Use Information

We do not share or sell donor or user information collected online or offline to outside parties. We use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our website and to share with potential benefactors or event partners. For example, we may tell a partner that X number of individuals visited a certain area on our website, but we do not disclose anything that could be used to identify those individuals. 

Our Commitment to Data Security

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. 

Our Commitment to Children’s Privacy

Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, we never collect or maintain information at our website from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone under 13.
