Thousands of children in Ohio and Northern Kentucky lay down to sleep each night on the floor, in a chair, or sharing a bed with another family member, often depriving them of the good night’s sleep they need.
Thanks to our partners at Morris Furniture Company and WCPO 9, 50 children in Greater Cincinnati will receive a new bed of their own this August, giving children across Cincinnati the quality sleep they deserve.

$200 provides a bed to a neighbor in need
Not only will you sleep better knowing you have made a difference, but a child in our community will receive a bed of their own, giving them a chance to make their dreams come true.
Hope to Dream is just a snapshot of the impact St. Vincent de Paul has on our community year-round. Through our Rahe Bed Program, SVDP provides new bed frames, mattresses, and mattress covers to families at no cost.
In 2025, 2,126 neighbors received a new bed through SVDP, including 915 children. That is over $372,050 worth of beds.
We need the community’s support to help fund this initiative and give children and their families the good night’s sleep they deserve.
In August, SVDP will team up with WCPO 9 and Morris Home Furniture to increase awareness and raise the funds needed to provide more beds for neighbors in need throughout the year. Your donation of just $200 can provide a bed, complete with bed frame, mattress, and mattress cover.
Because of you, more children will sleep in a bed of their own and wake up prepared to face whatever challenges may come their way.
