Cincinnati winters can be harsh. Help ensure our neighbors stay warm throughout the winter months by participating in our coat drive. Starting in October, SVDP will collect coats, hats, mittens, scarves and other cold weather gear. Last year, with the help of the community, we were able to distribute over 3,599 coats to neighbors in need throughout Cincinnati.
Businesses, community groups, and individuals are invited to support our Coat Drive and Distribution by hosting a drive of your own. Use the link below to sign up to host a drive, schedule drop off of donation boxes, or to arrange pick up of donations.

Your donation helps us purchase new coats in the sizes our neighbors need most. To make a financial contribution, click the link below. As a thank you, you will receive a coupon for a free coney from Gold Star.
Volunteers are needed to help sort coats ahead of our distribution events and during the events by welcoming neighbors, helping them shop, restocking, and assisting at check-out.

Hamilton County residents are eligible to receive a winter coat at one of our distribution events or by receiving a coat voucher. We will host two coat distribution events for neighbors in need of a coat this winter. Coat distribution events will be held:
Voucher distribution will start on Monday, November 17 and run through the end of February. To request vouchers for use at SVDP thrift stores, please visit the Neyer Outreach Center (1146 William L. Mallory, Sr. Street – formerly Bank St.) during walk-in hours with ID/verification for each person in need of a coat. See below for a list of verification documents accepted.
Residents of Northern Kentucky are served by St. Vincent de Paul of Northern Kentucky. Coat distribution events in Northern Kentucky will take place:
Neighbors do not need to register for these events, but please be sure to bring identification for the head of the household as well as all family members needing coats. One coat per person per season, please.
